Title: Playing pads for colored sounds?

I like playing the pads to try out sounds before I program them into a pattern. I've noticed that when the color option is activated, the pads don't produce sound anymore. I guess this is because the color option is for adding color to existing steps in the pattern, but I want to be able to live play the colored sounds on the pads. Is it possible to do this? Otherwise I wonder if it could be added in a firmware update. Not being able to live play the clap is killing me.

Nevermind I solved this issue myself! It's explained in section 3.5 of the manual. For some reason the manual wasn't included with the Drumbrute Impact I bought so I had to find the PDF online.
