Title: Volume dial at zero audio still audible through monitors
Post by: geok on February 08, 2022, 07:48:05 pm
Just got my Minifuse 2 and trying to figure out if anyone else experienced this?

With my volume dial all the way down and the monitor dial set to usb I can still hear, albeit quietly, but very much audible whatever is playing on my computer, video, audio, etc.

not a deal breaker and I can just turn my monitor dial away from usb to silence my monitors completely but that can cause other issues.

Am I the only one hearing this?

trying to understand if it's common, something in my setup, or a issue with my new minifuse 2

Thanks,
g

Hi Geok

I'm sorry you experience this as an issue.
You must know that all the knobs of the Minifuse are Analog, and thus we can't completely cut the audio.
It is a known issue and not a bug.
Hope it's not too much of a problem for you.
Kind regards.

I just got my minifuse 2 yesterday and have the same problem.
Accoording to the reply, it's analog volume cause the volume never totally go to  0.
But my audio equipment use the analog volume control with no sound when I turn the volume knob to 0.
Because if the volume is still a little bit that will affect my recording.

Arturia should fix this issue, the audible sound will affect my recording as well, otherwise I will need to turn off my monitor every time I hit record.
I have never seen a single audio interface with analog volume knob which can not completely turn off the volume.
