Title: Control Mode per track
Post by: pinknoise on November 29, 2021, 04:32:34 pm
Hi guys, there is no search function in this forum and i have no idea but assume that this has been requested (a few times) already. Nevertheless and because it is an assumption i would love to have the control mode per sequencer. At the moment there is only one line, but 5 would be awesome and would bring this sequencer so much further (it's already a very good one tho)
Sorry if i repeat a request, but i think it's a slamming feature..

I agree, and additionally I'd like to have the controller settings per track (i.e. Knob 1 sends CC x with track 1 and CC y with track 2 and so on).

I agree, add individual control tracks.

Agreed - control track [steps] per track, with individual CC assignments to the pots per track would be great. And they should be stored with the project, so when a new project is loaded they can be different.

Definitely agree. Pretty much the only feature I'd like to see at this point. Would be huge for me.

+1 as well.

I wonder, how this might be achieved. Would be awesome.

And, if possible - may be - also control tracks of choice like this:
CTRL - already puts current track into control mode

Control 2-3 tracks:
- Shift+CTRL (short)

All tracks in control:
- Shift+CTRL (2-3 times, like the Stop function)
OR
- Shift+CTRL (long press)
- - Shift+CTRL (long press) = at least 1 or 2 sec
OR
- - until the currently largest track (in steps) comes to its end - for a transition
OR
- - or a certain amount of beats (by the metronome)

Though, I don't know, how the units inside are communicating and if it would be possible that way.

I'd also love 5 CC's per track
and was disappointed when I learned it could be done on this

I've commented a few times but yeah, picking 5 CC's per instrument, is a limitation I can certainly work inside
bonus points if I could choose different ones per project... maybe I automate the filter decay in this song and the fx amount in another

but alas, I don't see it happening

it would be cool to get one of these if it's ever released, and midi merge it into my synth setup
the keystep pro is great at throwing down note sequences, but maybe this would be good for evolving parameter sequences?

still... it's not yet a product
it would be another thing to buy
and another thing that would be complex to integrate

Also one of the biggest things that I'm missing. I was expecting since the leds are blinking per-sequencer that the control mode is specific. I'd say for me it would be enough that it at least sent the CCs to the separate sequencer channels, depending on the selected one.

Was actually wondering this lately - is there only one control track across all 4 sequencers then?
