Title: KeyStep 32 - Maximum number of notes in a single sequence
Post by: mike_b on November 12, 2021, 09:40:39 am
I’m new to sequencing and have a question about the number of separate notes in a sequence. I have the original 32-key KeyStep and I want to create a sequence where 14 notes play one after the other in a single sequence.
The manual says the KeyStep sequencer is capable of stacking up to 8 notes per sequence step. But it also says you can record eight different sequences, each with up to 64 steps. Does that mean I can have 64 notes in a single sequence, or am I limited to 8? And if I can only have 8 notes in an individual sequence, but need 14, will I have to upgrade to the KeyStep Pro, which is capable of stacking up to 16 notes per sequence step?
I’m confused.
