Title: keys making louder sound on press/release
Post by: info@lara-studio.si on October 20, 2021, 11:19:19 pm
Hey happy mkII owners :)
Why does it feel all of a sudden (after 2 years) the keys are harder - the press and release make louder sound?
Is there maybe any settings to control the "hardness" of keys?

Welcome.
There are no settings to adjust the hardness of the keys. They are just strips of plastic whose resistance to pressure is determined by metal coil springs. If anything they should get weaker over time because the springs stretch.

They probably make a louder sound because over time the felt cushion at the bottom of their travel loses its softness.
