ASC can't connect to Arturia servers.
Was working 2 days ago but not today,Im on macOS Catalina
-
Looks like an ASC server issue this morning... hopefully it will be back online soon.
In the meantime, "continue offline", and if you need to activate a license on your computer, "offline activation" should also work as the Arturia.com website seems to be OK.
-
OK but I'm always offline and can't activate SQ80 V for example .
-
Is this still a problem for everyone else?
-
Yes.
I'm in USA/Utah and have no access to ASC or Store (on 3 different computers) Web access is fine but ASC and Store pop a cannot access server msg. Good thing I got my new synth downloaded a couple days ago....love it!
-
Software Center is still saying it cannot connect to servers for me.
-
Same problem here

Hi,
Just tested. It's working here. Try again.

Hi,
just checked again, the connection problem remains (see attachment)

Still nothing wrong here.
If you are sure, that everything is working at your end, and you use the correct logon, then i suggest you contact Arturia support. I assume you can log on your Arturia account to do this.
You could try to reinstall ASC first.
-
Thanks - re-installed ASC and it works now :)

Great that worked. Thanks for reporting back.

I am now having this problem for the first time. I keep getting the error "Can't connect to the Arturia severs"
ASC will not even let me type in the fields where my email address / password is, although I could reset my password (which I tried, didn't work - even though I can login with new password into Arturia main webpage).
Searching the forums shows that this problem appears to have occurred for several users over the past 4 years or so. I've re-installed ASC several times with and without reboots, but that has not worked. I've also deleted the ASC folder in the /Library/Arturia/ folder. That has removed my login from the ASC login screen, but still won't let me type in my own login/password at the login screen when ASC opens after re-install.
Everything was working a week ago. Sent them an email request for help. I've been able to log into my account on the Arturia webpage, and even change my password. But I haven't been able to type anything into the fields in the ASC. It shows my correct email as the account login, but ... again, can't type anything.
macOS Monterey 12.1
Mac mini with Apple M1
(I know, I know, but it was all working before with this hardware/OS)
I'm wondering if there is an issue with the Arturia servers? Frustrating.
-
Can it be that this is again the case now? My ASC Can't connect to the server, and my internet is running normal...
-
Hi All,
Glad I found the forum as I am experiencing this issue and thought I was doing something wrong.
Received a Keylab MK II 61 for Christmas and was trying to set it up this afternoon but got stick at the Arturia Software Center server connection issue.
I have tried uninstalling, re-installing and installing and older version of ASC, but no luck.
I filed a support request but have yet to hear back.
Given that so many people are reporting the same problem it sounds like it is a server side issue.
Cheers !

I'm getting the same thing in NC. It was working fine last night. I can use my DX7 V and Snyclavier V because they are paid for, but I am still paying for the Emulator 2 so I guess that's why I can't use it offline. Hope they get the servers back up soon. Anyone else on the east coast of the US having this problem or is it everywhere?
-
Same here, it worked earlier today, but not now.
-
My copy of ASC can't get through to the servers either, but I can login on the Arturia website.
I guess I'll try again tomorrow. Perhaps the server admin is simply on holiday break?
-
I can't log in to ASC either.
-
Holiday 'traffic'. This problem happens literally every year, and whenever Arturia has promotions on which cause the servers to go crazy with new users registering products. Keep trying.
-
Seems to be working now.
-
same here, but now ASC wont open
-
Is anyone still having issues with ASC?
I constantly get ' Failed to sign in. Please retry '
It hasn't worked since the end of December, even though I can log into my account on Arturias' website.
I also tried using offline activation on Sunday night to activate a copy of VC 5 & I still haven't received any response.

Hi,
Have you tried to do the simple thing and reinstall ASC?
-
Yes I have. With no joy.
Also uninstalled & reinstalled it too, just in case.
Asked Arturia support what the process was for a 'clean install', and I was told that they were having server problems & it would be fixed shortly.
That was on the 28th of December.
-
It's possible the server was down. But afaik it never have taking more than untill the next workday at max to have it running again. The server is up.
If you have'nt tried to uninstall and reinstal ASC again, then i would try that. Just do it like you do with any other programs. Something like this:
https://arturiahelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4405741261714-How-to-properly-uninstall-an-Arturia-software
Also be sure you use the correct login.
If this does'nt work, then i suggest you contact Arturia support again, and give them informations to know it's not about the server is down.
-
Thanks for the reply. I did uninstall ASC again, restarted my pc and reinstalled it again but it made no difference.
Still the same problem, although ASC had my email already filled out on the fresh install, so it must be saved in the registry somewhere.
So I have contacted Arturia support again.
If they fix it I'll update this thread with what was causing the problem ( assuming it isn't a stupid error on my part )
-
Found out the problem, as as expected it was user error on my part.
When I reset my password, I used some special characters in it.
Turns out that ASC doesn't like that, even though it works fine on their website.
So I reset my password again to one that doesn't contain any special characters & it's working now.
So a mistake on my part, but also an error on Arturias' part as ASC should accept the same password that their own website does.
Some people, like myslef, use special characters to add another level of security.
Not supporting this in ASC is a bit behind-the-times.

Thanks for telling.
I agree the same password should work both places.
I know Arturia have done something so speciel characters for computer names should not matter anymore. When it also does'nt matter on the website, then we can hope they are working on it to not matter for ASC too.
Great you found out and afterall are up running.
