Title: Interpreting mbp files?
Post by: jonot on September 04, 2021, 09:57:55 pm
Is there any way of finding out what all the settings are for any given preset on the MF?

I can see that the .mbp files are plain text & it looks likes they show values for all the encoders & other settings, presumably including the matrix.

Has anyone written a utility to interpret these & print (display) them?

Is there a file layout description anywhere so that I could write my own?

It feels like a terrible shortcoming that I can't see what see what all the settings are for a preset, but maybe there's something I've missed ?

Hey someone already did something like what I was looking for, here https://studiocode.dev/microfreak-reader/

Unfortunately it hasn't been updated for firmware version 3
