Title: KeyLab compatibility with Auria Pro
Post by: nitram1963 on April 21, 2021, 01:25:05 pm
I am looking to purchase KeyLab 49 MkII for use with Auria Pro on a 2017 ipad Air.

Does anyone have experience of this combination - how well does it work - do functions transfer across - as I am aware that Auria is not an officially supported DAW in the KeyLab software.

Any feedback from people using Auria with Keylab MKII would be very helpful.

Many thanks
Martin :)

Welcome.

My experience of using Arturia midi controllers on an iPad is the basic midi functions work, ie the keys (obviously), pitch bend, modulation, drumpads, but the other buttons it's a bit of a lottery. I haven't specifically tried it with Auria Pro.

You probably already know unless you connect it to a computer you can't make use of the bundled software (Analog Lab, Ableton Lite, Piano V), but I'd thought I'd mention it just in case it wasn't obvious. The bundled software partly accounts for the KeyLab's price.
