Title: Type Oscillators not working correcly (bug?)
Post by: bigbert on April 16, 2021, 08:02:26 pm
Hi,

I'm a noob so hopefully I'm doing something wrong here, but this doesn't seem to be user issue but a software bug..?

The issue I'm having is that changing the Type does not work as expected. When I turn the knob right to change type, I expect the setting to go like this (from reading manual). And I expect to be able to go back an forth from these:

BasicWaves > SuperWave > Wavetable > Harmo > KarplusStr > V.Analog > Waveshaper > Two Op. FM > Format > Chords > Speech > Modal > Noise > Bass > SawX > Harm > Vocoder

This is whats happening for me. Everything works as expected until I get to Bass

BasicWaves > SuperWave > Wavetable > Harmo > KarplusStr > V.Analog > Waveshaper > Two Op. FM > Format > Chords > Speech > Modal > Noise > Bass  (The graphics say Bass But I end up in SawX, to get to BASS i have to turn the knob to the left (which should be Noise))> SawX (I only get here if I go left from Harm) > Harm (When I get here I get stuck between Harm och SawX, turning knob left and right keeps me on these two oscillators, If i keep turning the knob I will after a while get out of this loop)> Vocoder

It's a wierd issue so hopefully you understand my explanation. If anyone has any idea whats wrong here (or if i'm just an idiot) it would be greatly appreciated because this doesn't make sense.

I have updated to latest version in MIDI Control Center first thing I did (Firmware Revision 3.0.6). Power adapter is plugged in.

I'm not sure, I updated it first thing when I got it. I have contacted support, no reply yet though.
