Title: help my microfreak was actually smoking ??

I was running power into my micro freak while simultaneously having it connected into my computer via usb, also having the clock and midi ports routed to external gear...I noticed first the smell and then saw smoke rising from the midi ports. I disconnected everything and waited.. but now my computer can't read the microfreak if I connect it by usb at all. do I get a new one?

Might have to check with your dealer as this seems to be a warrenty thing.
