It would be great to have automation lanes for each track - ideally multiple lanes. As an alternative though I could live with something like motion sequencing as done on the Korg Volcas. That is a single track which records CC values generated by the controllers, with a simple Clear function so that you can redo them if you need to. Perhaps this could be overlaid over the Drum Track as it is capable of handling multiple MIDI channels.
