Title: Mellotron V missing Mechanical Noise and Noise

Hi,

the mechanical noise and noise knob doesn´t have any effect.

Any hints?

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

Perhaps you will hear it best on any sound, if you play a short staccato note. It should be very clear.

Also read the tooltip  for what Mechanial and Noisefloor do, if you are in doubt.

Flutter works,
Tape Saturation as well
NO effect on Mechanics and Noise Floor. Nothing

Which OS DAW and plugin do you use? Have you tried both the plugin the standalone applications?

When you turn up the Mechanics, then there should be sound and more when you trigger and release notes. The Noise Floor need you trigger notes first.

If you hear nothing at all, then i can suggest you try and reinstall Mellotron V.

Logic and Luna. Same issue. I think reinstall would be a good idea.

By the way: this verification routine sucks. i don´t wanna enter to Fort Knox

I deinstalled and reinstalled.

Same issue.

Checked it this time in stand alone mode.

I'm on Windows.

I can't tell if this is a OS, a plugin type or a DAW related issue. I suggest you contact Arturia support.

Thanks for the feedback!
We have found an issue on Mac OS related to the mechanical noise.
It will be fixed in an upcoming hotfix.
