Title: Drawbar Orientation.
Post by: fenderchris on December 19, 2020, 12:31:24 pm
Is it possible to reverse the travel of the drawbars so that pulling the control-surface's faders DOWN (rather than pushing them Up) opens the drawbars so that they respond like the drawbars on an actual Hammond organ?

I've tried playing with the Midi 'Macro' features but that does not seem to work, although it looks as though it should work by reversing the min and max settings.

The previous version of VOX did make this very easy to accomplish when setting up the midi mapping.

Other Hammond emulations I have tried do provide this facility.

Another day, another challenge.  :o

Hey!!
What controller do you use? I have a Keylab Mk I, and it automatically goes in the "drawbar way". You can choose your controller at the Midi Settings on the instrument (maybe it works). If not, you can change the behaviour of your faders at Midi Control Center (if you have an Arturia controller). Also, as you say, if you invert the min and max at the Midi Settings in the same instrument, it should work.

Good luck!

I use a Nektar Panorama 1 controller so I have selected the Generic Midi Controller setting.

I've tried reversing the Min/Max settings but it does not seem to work.

Same problem with B3 V2.

I've found out how to do it.

It's in the Midi section, not the Macro section.

@Arturia: Some up-to-date documentation would be nice, if it's not too much to ask.
