Title: Tom Sound - Pitch Issues

When I attempt to change the pitch of the hi and low tom using the pitch knob, the pitch either fluctuates randomly, moves slowly in the direction I want, or it doesn't change at all. I've performed a hard reset and reloaded the firmware, but nothing has changed. Is this a technical issue requiring repairs, or is it something I can resolve on my own?
