Title: Notes not triggering
Post by: kowalski on October 27, 2020, 12:11:53 am
Hi everyone.

I have my Keystep 37 for a few days but I have found a problem. When I select a scale, if I am pressing a key and I press another key that will trigger the same note that is sounding, this second note wont sound.
What I wanted is to trigger the same note, again. Is this a feature? A bug? Can this be configurable via MIDI CONTROL CENTER?

Thanks a lot!

It seems that the KeyStep 37 doesn't retrigger the second note when it falls outside the scale. If you have 'minor' selected as scale and play 'c' and then the 'cis' the cis does not retrigger when you still have the 'c' key pressed. If you want to trigger the 'cis' immediately after playing the the 'c' you'll have to let go of the the 'c' before playing the 'cis'. This is true for all pitches that are 'double/extra' in scale. I don't know whether this is feature or bug, maybe both (;_). You can't change it the MIDI Control Center.
