Title: Next, prev and Live/bank buttons in DAW mode (Ableton)
Post by: 9guille9 on October 15, 2020, 05:17:25 pm
Hi, i'm using Ableton live 10 and i want to know how can i use those little buttons (next, prev, Live/bank) in DAW mode. I have searched manual and it says that live/bank "toggles the function ov next, prev buttons" without more info. without live/bank activated, it seems that you can moove tracks one by one to control pans and gain, but i can't find how they work with live/bank button activated (shining)

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

Actually the manual say this:

"Using the DAW map, the control buttons function in the following way:
• Next / Prev: Shifts the focus of the encoders and faders in your DAW. The amount
is determined by the Bank button:
◦ Bank ON: shifts tracks by 8 channels
◦ Bank OFF: shifts tracks by 1 channel
• Bank: Toggles the function of the Next/Prev buttons."

It describe a functionality for the Next/ Prev buttons depending on the state of the Bank button.

I don't have the controller, so i can't test.
