Title: Beatstep pro and reaper midi issue

Hi all,

Love my BBS pro, in ableton i can set it to usb midi, click record in Ableton en my BS starts playing, hit stop and i have midi from my BS recorder in ableton.
Im thinking about switching to reaper, but i cant get this to work (grrr). The closest i got is to link BS to Reaper, press play in reaper (Bs plays) and than press record. Which means i have to reaarange all the midi back to point. If i press record in stead of play (in reaper) i get either nothing or stuttering playback for 2 seconds and than it stops.

Ive read some possible solutions but all include using midi cables, which i think is ridicolous ! Why have USB and not make it work right ?

Hi,

New user too, I'm on Reaper/PC.  Just tried the same this morning. 

Try this :

Go to Reaper preferences -> MIDI devices -> MIDI inputs -> Arturia BSP, juste check Enable input from this device, uncheck Control Messages if checked.
