I think this is new with the newest update. When I open 3+ instances of pigments with the windows all open they start to completely freeze and become unresponsive, also causing the Daw to become unresponsive. Have tested with bitwig, fl studio, and reaper with the same results. before this update i could easily have 10+ instances with windows all open and moveable without freezing.

I suggest you contact Arturia support about this. I can confirm this happens after a small test only in Studio One 3. I usually don't have multiple pigments windows open at a time, so i can't tell, if it was like this before.
I'm on windows 10.

Have you heard from Arturia support at all? I have this same issue but can't load more than one instance before FL freezes up. Ridiculous.
