Title: After update with ASC instruments not activated. Need help please.
Post by: Flo on September 11, 2020, 05:47:10 am
I updates a week ago all instruments- V collection 7, Pigments, etc, and the ASC indicate that they are all activated. I am using Cubase 10 on windows 7. When I open an instrument, it gives me the windiw to activate the instrument. I click activate, opend the ASC, all looks fine, but the instrument doesn't start. I tried the stand alone- same thing. I deactivated all in ASC, then activate, same results. It is frustrating, especially that I have to revisit a project to do some changes, and I can't. I snet a message, I hope I'll get a response soon. Any idea?

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

I can suggest you restart your computer after you have deactivated the software and then activate after the restart, if you did'nt do that.
Perhaps even try to deactivate and then un- and reinstall.
I guess it also can be about your ASC. Perhaps a reinstall of ASC can help.
If you can't fix it, then i suggest you contact Arturia support.

But an issue like this is very strange. It can even be about a local issue on your computer or about a Windows issue.
Hopefully Arturia can help you to get it solved, if you can't solve it yourself.

Good luck.

Thank you for your response, I do appreciate it. I did as you said, deactivate, shut down computer, restart and activate and voila, ca marche! Excellent! I would dare to ask you one more thing: I had collection V4, then 5, then 6 and now I have V7. Do I have to activate all of them? Thanks,

Good it was that simple. Glad i could help.

I assume your V-collections after the first one is upgrades. I don't think you can activate them seperately, as you then would get too many licenses for older applications. When the latest applications is activated, then i think all the collections is being activated. And you also have the activate all option.
What's your problem?
