Hi there,
Bought my microfreak a couple of months ago and love it. Have tried everything to get it to make sound through Logic using a USB (which works well with my Roland FA08) but all I can get is MIDI signal and no sound. Have installed the control center and followed all the instructions and guidelines. Usually, when I go into 'preferences' and 'audio', the hardware will show up in 'imput device' but it isn't there. However, it does show up in MIDI imputs.
How do I get the audio from the microfreak to work in Logic? I don't need it purely as a MIDI controller as that's what my Roland is for. Thanks!

Taking Logic out of the equation at the moment, does the MF appear at least as an audio device when you connect it via USB? If so, you should be able to get Logic to record it, but if it only appears as a midi device, that'll be why Logic can't record its audio.

Ah ok thanks. Yeah it's not showing up on audio devices and not sure how to get it to show up. Any ideas? Should I try uninstalling and re-insalling the MIDI control center?

Don't know, to be honest. Are you even sure that the MF is designed to 'do' audio over USB? Is there anything in the manual about it?

the MF will not provide AUDIO via USB, only midi stuff.
you'll need to connect a cable from the audio output or headphone out of MF to your audio interface.
