Title: Colored event and Midi Notes

Hello
I wonder how Midi notes are send for colored events.
Is the colored Midi note send when the instrument is not active for the step?
Or does the instrument track send one of 2 notes (never both) ?

In other words: can you consider Color as an independent track?

The colored notes have their own midi number, which you can assign in the MCC (see picture).
They have their own step pattern as well.
