Title: Any special instructions for the Microfreak OS update?

Like a button to keep pressed while turning the power on? Or some other method of accessing the OS?

Not sure what you are asking.
If it's simply "how to update firmware" you need to use Midi Control Center on your computer, which should advise firmware update automatically as soon as you plug your Microfreak with USB and turn it on when MCC is open.
