Title: Letting an ext. sequencer transpose sequences without havng to hold Shift const.
Post by: MarkFromGermany on April 17, 2020, 10:07:24 pm
As of now I cant use an external sequencer to transpose sequences on the mF.
Well I can but I'd have to press down the Shift button the entire time!

I'd suggest a midi CC parameter to send transpose messages to the mF without the use of the
Shift button.

Pitch mod doesn't work for all musical  intervals because it doesn't track the scale.

That could be another possible solution, to have the pitch mod quantised to the current scale as an option in the Utility / Preset menu.

It works normal (playing notes to start the seq at the desired note/pitch) if your sequencer does not send midi start message with its clock. I use midiox to filter it out.
