Title: key step not working with mother 32

hi all I’m new here. Just got my Keystep and updated firmware. I have plugged midi in to the mother 32 and on keystep switches are up. The keystep plays notes but the arp doesn’t work or the chords. Also the tempo light doesn’t work and the sequencer only records onto the mother. The channels are set to the same. When I record A sequence the play/ pause button just flashes white.

Have I missed something or have I got a faulty one

I appreciate your help as I have spent All night trying to figure it out , even change cables restarting etc.

Try placing the switches to all down instead.  I got confused by the drawing and throught that the down logo was up.
