Title: Long Loading Times
Post by: parodise on February 07, 2020, 04:27:59 pm
The Loading Times of any Arturia-VST-PlugIn are very, very high compared to Plug-Ins by other Companies especially on older Core i5 Processors. Sometimes I prefer other Instruments just not to kill the Workflow. Can there be done something about that?

I hope so. The loading time is relative high on Windows 10. For me not as long as you suggest though. But i think it should be faster - if possible. It have been way faster before, so i don't know, if this is about the applications or about Windows, as i have read other similar complaints for other manufactors applications, that loaded faster before. Perhaps it's about both. But i hope it will be better.

I hope that's sorted out. Analog Lab is specially painful. It took about 20 seconds to open from Cubase the other day, on an i7 7th Gen, which is not that old.

In Ableton 11 I mainly use Arturia plugins, and loading is on the verge of usability. When I add plugins to a project gradually, it's ok, but if I later open a project that has, for example, 9 tracks with Arturia plugins, they are waiting for an eternity.

I would like to confuse optimization to gentlemen from Arturia ;-)

Problem solved.

VST3 - extra long loading time
VST2 - better and faster loading time and using
