Title: Recording/Importing from External Devices/Files
Post by: Jei Jon M on January 09, 2020, 10:52:45 pm
Section 4.3.1 of the DrumBrute 1_2_EN manual states, "You can also record using an external MIDI/USB source...".
I understand that the mappings need to match, but I haven't found anything else, anywhere, to describe the process of recording from an external hardware or software sequencer.

I suspect this would be just one pattern at a time?
Besides matching the Key/Note maps, what else is involved on the DrumBrute end? Any particulars involving Start & Stop?

It seems that the other route to getting externally composed drum patterns into DrumBrute would be to open MIDI.mid files within Arturia's Control Center.
Again, I haven't found anything in the manuals, Arturia.com, YouTube, etc. that explicitly discusses this - or that says this is impossible.

I haven't called Support. Thought I'd start here in the Forum. Thanks in advance.

By the way, and I've complained about this before; Why do the moderators of this forum make it so hard with all the Verifications to submit a post?!? No damn wonder most inquiries go unanswered! No wonder I haven't been back here in so long! No wonder if DrumBrute sales aren't half what they could be if only shoppers investigating the thing found answers to all the inquiries and could even post their own, except that it takes multiple tries to satisfy the self-defeating complexity of the Verification process - if one has the stamina to keep trying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
