Hello,

Not really. To some extend you can say.

You have 6 modulation slots in the 8 voice programmer. So you can change 6 of the parameters that can be selected for a slot.
If you add differnt settings for those parameters for each step in the programmer, then the voices you play will be assign to one of this settings.

Start with the FWD RETRIG Mode.
Also start with a 8 voice Polyphony settings
But then exsperiment with the settings.

In the FWD RETRIG mode the steps allways assign settings to voices beginning with step 1. If you in example stop playing notes after 3 steps/ voices, then you will start at step 1 at first note again.

Using the ARP in fast mode sometimes can make a useful UNISON mode. But in reallity you unfortunately have no UNISON mode.
The ARP play through the steps.

Be sure the 8 voice progeammers steps you will use is active.

Happy New Year everyone.

I'm fairly new to using the SEM and wondering if there is any way to use the programmer to create 8 distinct sounds as if you had the Oberheim 8 voice SEM?

Thanks

Pat
