I suggest you download the synth and try it yourself in demo mode.

You can hear some sound examples here, but i think it's best to download and hear the application too:
And download it here: https://www.arturia.com/jupiter8-v/resources
Please note that Jupiter 8 V is a legacy product. The current version is Jup-8 V. (Jup-8 has it's own forum.)

I have Jup-8 V as a part of V-Collection that is Arturias emulations of vintage synths, samplers and keys.
You can see what's in V-collection here: https://www.arturia.com/products/analog-classics/v-collection/overview#en

Hello everyone,,
I really like a lot of 80's/retro-inspired electro (Grum, Anoraak, Mitch Murder, etc.) and I'd like to start producing some stuff with similar chords and leads, but I don't have the budget to go all out and buy analog synths yet, and I've only been producing for about a year, so for the time being, I'm going to stick with VSTs while I gain more experience . So I did some research and I found out about Arturia's Jupiter-8V which is an emulator for Roland's Jupiter-8 synth. Personally, I think it sounds nice for the price (USD 99.00), but I wanted to hear some opinions from people who have used it before. Is it worth the price? How does it hold up to the original synth? Is it as good as or better than the usual "industry standards" like Massive or Sylenth for this genre of music? Any feedback/advice would be greatly appreciated mobdro lucky patcher kodi
