This is quite normal behavior for such a step sequencer. Unfortunately you need to do a little math because semitone steps still is'nt fixed as reported here: https://forum.arturia.com/index.php?topic=88114.msg148976#new
Alternatively you can use a DAW and perhaps other external software or hardware with the required functionality. But the Duran Duran sequence is a static pattern, so it'll work, if you set each note manually and save the preset.
