Can BSP record chained patterns?
« on: February 11, 2017, 01:10:32 pm »
I guess no.

I am trying to record chained patterns and it appears the record works (steps light up) but after the first cycle everything is lost. I guess recording patterns while chained is actually not supported and it has to do with the pattern saving limitation - each one needs to be saved immediately after any change. Am I right?

If I am right, then that would be one of the most annoying limitations. Anyway, why is there the need to save each pattern before switching to another? I cannot see the logic behind it, nor I can see any technical reason. Why not keeping all the pattern changes within a project and then save all at once by saving the project? Is this just a clumsy design decision or I am missing something here?
