Beat Step Pro Useage
« on: February 04, 2017, 04:46:53 pm »
Hello all,

I'm new to BSP. I have looked around the forums and not found answers to solve my issue.

I use Studio one 3 Pro. I want to record the MIDI generated information from BSP into Studio One "SYNCED" thru USB by using the transport controls on ether BSP or Studio one. I have setup Studio One to receive and record MIDI channels 1,2,10 simultaneously, But because there seems to be no clock being received by BSP it will not start when Studio one is set to record. Also, activating control mode seems to do nothing. Can this be done? Is there any other working methods that allow this type of configuration to work. Please & Thanks!

You may need to tell Studio One to send MIDI clock out on USB MIDI so that the BSP receives the clock signal.  Also make sure the BSP is set to "USB" sync up there above it's display.
Currently running https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1311723 / www.modulargrid.net, sequencing with KSP and recording with a Zoom (no DAW involved, for better or worse ;) )
