Large dead zone in middle of pitch wheel
« on: January 28, 2017, 10:19:50 pm »
Hi Guys,

My pitch wheel has got a large dead zone in the middle, makes it impossible to do vibrato.

Is this normal?

Cheers

Andy

I noticed the same. I think it's a design choice?

I think there is intentional deadzone on the dual function FM dials so that you can activate in slots 13-16 of the matrix, but that wouldn't make sense on the pitch wheel.  I will experiment when I get home and report back.

Yes, same here.  Hard to be precise, but it feels like about 1cm in each direction before anything starts happening.

I've also noticed this. Never encountered such a large deadzone before. It does make precise use of the pitch wheel difficult. A strange design decision. A smaller deadzone has been added to my feature requests.
