Sum outputs to one input
« on: January 13, 2017, 01:32:05 pm »
Hi!

Is it "safe" to use a Y-cable to connect two outputs from to the drumbrute to one input on my soundcard? I tried, and it worked, byt then I read a lot of articles about how you should avoid summing two mono outputs etc...

Hi, summing like this on audio outs is not a good idea . you could end up damaging your sound card due to the impedance change . should only be done with summing boxes.
