Keyboard of dubious quality
« on: December 08, 2016, 03:27:48 am »
Well, had the Keylab 25 for about 10 months and I've had to do a home repair:

One of the keys "dropped" (high D), for want of a better word. Opened the unit up and a little spigot had broken off the key. Spigot found rattling around inside - out came the Araldite and glued back on. Sorted, after I let it set for a day.

So, no 'total fail' - but really this should not have happened.... the keyboard is used at home and treat well, yet it still broke, just after releasing a key sharply! (not hitting it down sharply). So my idea is that it is a crap Chinese job.

Considering the rest of the build is so sturdy, I find it disappointing that the keyboard is so fragile.

Be warned...
