Linear pitch mode?
« on: August 15, 2016, 01:27:53 am »
I assume there is no linear pitch mode like classic CV sequencers had. Only semitones are supported. Which is probably the single biggest missing feature... I try to help myself with a Korg SQ1 for non-perfect pitch lines. However, SQ1 cannot save sequences (well, exactly like classic CV sequencers). Bad luck.

Now, is this really so hard to do? Obviously linear pitch does not work over midi, since midi has only semitones, so non-semitone pitches could be rounded to the nearest semitone when sending over midi. SQ1 does that!

Anyway, linear pitch control is interesting only via CV control... but why not being able to save linear pitch sequence? Who is going to give it first, Korg by adding save feature or Arturia by implementing linear pitch?
