Beatstep pattern change over MIDI

Hello!

Is it possible to change Sequencer patterns from an external source via MIDI.
I have a two bar pattern which I'd like to chain together but as BS doesn't allow that can I change from pattern to pattern with a Program Change or Patch Change message from an external source?

  Is this true?!? Another firmware update? Did not think that would happen. Hopefully they will also fix the pattern length change sync bug (and the "transpose not active while editing" problem). Then I won't need to sell my Beatstep...
