Feature Request - Mute Single Drums just with MUTE+Pad

I would like an option in the BSP ControlCenter to switch following options:
> DRUM+MUTE+Instrument Pad - to mute single Instruments/Drums

I would prefer a direct press on
> MUTE+Instrument Pad - to mute single Instruments/Drums

and the
> DRUM+MUTE for all Instruments

Anyone else ?

Hi you can already mute drum pads just press drum then mute then pad you want to mute

sorry i meant INSTEAD of using 3 Buttons (mute+drum+pads)
i would prefer to mute drum pads just with 2 button action (mute+pads)

that would it make more quick and intuitive to mute single pads since i use this much more often, then mute all drums

maybe it would be possible to implement this in the MCC as an option to switch - from normal mode > to quick select mode

I've been thinking about the same thing. This would be a very helpful addition because timing is critical when (un)muting drums and it's much harder to hit both buttons with the left hand simultaiously, if you have to do it quickly after having pressed some other button before.

Please add this option in the next firmware update.

I wholly support this idea.

Also an issue: Presently, you have to first switch to DRUM, and then press DRUM+MUTE+PAD.
So if I'm in controller or seq1/seq2 mode, it takes 2 separate steps to mute/unmute single drum sounds.
Same goes for sequencers, actually. Transposing sequences requires me to first switch to corresponding sequencer with one button press, and the pressing SEQ button + PAD.

I find this odd and inconvenient, and something that seems easy to fix with firmware update.

Just my 2 cents.

well, in the same idea, i would like to DELETE one type of a drum/pad in the whole sequence (even if it's a 4 X16 steps)...
deleting in a 64 steps is taking ages...

that said, i totally approve any kind of easier muting system... +1

YES - a "Clear PART" option (like on the Volca's) would be lovely - maybe with "SHIFT + drum-pad + Clear Ptn"

I am glad this was brought up and I totally agree 100%. I am loving my BSP it is a great unit  but the drum muting method as it is is very restricting. It would be a huge advantage especially in performance on the fly to be able to go into drum mute mode with having both your hands free to use once in the mode. when you have many drum parts playing and you want to mute and un-mute parts a button push combo to get you to drum mute mode like it is now but then if we could have it allow us to then release the button combo, mute and un-mute our drum parts being able to use both hands and then to get out of the mode it could remain the same as now. It is the having to hold down the drum+mute button the whole time with your other hand that is the problem imho

yes - i like that idea !
if the DRUM+MUTE mode would get locked in once it is pressed - i would have much faster access to mute single drums !

I agree as well maintaining the mute button just doesn't work for me neither.
So many time I accidentally mute the whole drum...

best would be a toggle function to mute mode, so only the pads can be presssed to mute. leaves one hand totally free.

Also + 1000000 for a "toggle mode" > you enter into the mute mode and just press parts you don't need and press one more time if you want them back... now mute mode is quite useless...
