Native Instruments NKS Integration
« on: November 23, 2015, 10:53:44 am »
Hi All,

I'm an owner of V Collection version 2.0. I plan on buying Komplete Kontrol S61 keyboard and need to know if my version of V Collection can be updated to work with the new NKS. I definitely don't want to have to buy a complete new version of the V Collection just to make use of NKS. I'm hoping that I can just download a free update to the version I already own. Does anyone know the policy with this?

Many thanks,

TJ

I have V Collection 4 and am trying to run Spark 2 using Maschine Studio.  Several of the drumkit pads do not trigger (scale set to Chromatic, staring on C-3, which assigns the bass kick to the lower left pad, and then up chromatically).  The mouse does trigger the pads in the software.

One would think there would be a way to use Maschine Studio to select patterns, but no luck, although one can select types and modes in the browser (but lots of crashes).

So NKS doesn't seem to be thoroughly implemented; for sure with Maschine Studio, and with crashes in Komplete Kontrol.
