portamento time and touch control settings
« on: November 09, 2015, 01:38:59 pm »
The max time interval that can be set for portamento is way too slow when compared to the original

This difference in behavior applies to some other sliders as well such as the initial touch and aftertouch levels for brilliance and amplitude. The range from 0 to max is way too big when compared to the original.

The thing with the real CS80 is this: with big movement of sliders one controls little nuances. Moving the sliders on the CS80V however causes huge differences in level.

I also feel that the scaling is a bit odd, sometimes massive changes occur at the last bits of travel..  I've been studying the schematic to learn more...
