BeatStep With EZDrummer?
« on: June 23, 2015, 11:29:21 pm »
Hello,

I'm new to BeatStep. I'm using BeatStep with EZDrummer 2.  Is there a way to reassign the pads to a specific drum order?

I would like to rearrange the order of the pads to be more like the order of the drums left to right.

For example the hi-hat on #1, the snare on #2, etc.

Thanks for your help.

Steve

Yes. You can easily customize BeatStep (or any Arturia controllers) with their "MIDI Control Center" utility application.

Grab it here, install it, connect BeatStep to your computer and run it. It should auto-detect BeatStep and allow you to Recall/Store a configuration for each of BeatStep's 16 "Memories" (aka setups/programs)

Check this BeatStep Resources link:

Scroll down to the "EXTRA RESOURCE" section where MCC is available for download.

Good luck :)
