Leaving song mode on Spark 2 CDM
« on: March 20, 2015, 01:53:45 pm »
I have a newbie question, which I'm hoping doesn't have a really obvious answer..!

On my CDM hardware I can enter Song Mode by pressing the SONG button and then the Sequencer buttons become triggers for different songs. However leaving Song Mode by pressing the SONG button again doesn't restore the machine to its previous state where the sequencer buttons indicate drum patterns. Instead it just stays with the Song Mode triggers.

How can I get back into normal pattern creation mode through the hardware? I realise the SparkLE has different mode buttons for this, but these don't exist on CDM. I get stranded in Song Mode if I ever use it!!

Also I get a message show up saying "Step Mode 3.0" ... what does that even mean? Why 3?

Big thanks,

Hi, after turning song mode off try pressing select and step 12. this should get you back to patten mode.
