Hey!

Ill  check these CCs out on my new unit.

Can you check something for me too?

1. Turn all OSCs + noise + sub OSC + audio input fully down to achieve silence
2. Turn Main volume up
3. Open Filter Cut-off fully + No resonance
4. Turn LFO AMP all the way to either minus or plus sign

Can you hear the LFO making a high pitch sound???

I need to know if this is happening for all Minibrutes or just a select few!

Many Thanks

Yes that's normal (Amplitude Modulation)!!!

Cheers BenGee! ;)

So you get a "B above middle C" tone generated along with the beating of the LFO too? Especially noticable when using the first 3 LFO shapes but not the others?

Thanks alot for checking this. I'm not sure it is "normal" behaviour for amp modulation to make this noise though, more like a limitation of this particular design. My sub37 has no such noise when cranking the LFO up on any source - amp, filter, pitch or other!

I have posted  some audio examples of the noise generated in a post "LFO amp and rate noises - scratchy/crackle" any chance you could listen and compare to that which you have?  ;)

The CC's for Arp Hold and Recieve Channel are working here! Have you managed to get these working yet?

Best Regards

Chi

PS this thread seems to indicate that it doesn't happen for all units "LFO noise/harmonic. Extremely irritating."  Weird eh!  Another poster here uploaded some audio of their LFO amp and it sounded very different to mine, noisy but different without any high tone generated...I don't know!

Yes it sounds identical. Maybe it's the amp feedback (Brute Factor > Crosstalk). In my mind the LFO talk with a Trigger/Gate to the Amp and says something like: on off, on off, on off, or up down, up down, up down,... and so on. And the result (scratchy/crackle sound) is this crazy pulsating feedback (Brute Crosstalk) I think.

Not normal for amp modulation I think, but normal for Minibrute.  :)

Perfect Bengee! Thanks for checking  ;)

Did you sort the CC's out in the end?
