Keylab 88 PADS for changing sounds in midi-hooked synth?
« on: January 26, 2015, 05:21:18 pm »
Hey,

Is it possible to use those 16 PADS of Keylab 88 for changing sounds in other synth which is connected with a midi-cable?

In that way you could have a set of 16 different sounds of other synth (module)  with easy access...

I have not done this before. But could you not change the pads from sending a note to sending a program change?

I don't have this Keylab 88 yet. I would like to use it as master keyboard and use the sounds of an other synthmodule. I think it could work if those PADS could be programmed to send program changes and notes.

The pads are easily programmed to send patch change commands.  I'm doing it for Mainstage 3.
