Velocity for Beatstep SEQ mode
« on: October 02, 2014, 06:26:41 am »
Where is Velocity for BeatStep SEQ mode? This would be just GREAT!!
Surely other BeatSteppers users, are you missing velocity??... am I missing something?
Velocity on each pad or note in MCC, would enable us to set any modifier to velocity in the Synth patch being triggered, and would open way more expression on notes.

A simple tick box in Midi Control Centre to enable velocity?
Or if not enabled for pads, in MCC Sequence Editor just have another line for VEL under the Pitch and Stop
You have great velocity sensitive pads, why restrict it to just CNTRL mode?

I can't wait for this, can I hack the MCC to get this  :o
Any chance of SEQ Velocity in next update Arturia?

You are not the only one missing velocity control :-)  I was surprised that until now nobody addressed this very essential feature .
Should be Nr 1 in coming updates!!

I totally agree..let's see SHIFT + rotate knob to control each note Velocity !!! PLEASE ASAP..
Love this controller, but this would put it to the edge!

+ 1000
Shift + rotate seems to be usable and simple.
i"m afraid that now with more focused beatstep pro, arturia let beatstep normal like this...
frankly, it's elementary that the control.... control the volume... i can't beleive that it's not the case... strange politics !
i have to precise this on forums, because before buy we had'nt advertise by this fat fat problem.
 :(

+1 to Shift & rotate

Arturia has to come up with more software driven features otherwise the Korg SQ-1 steals Beatstep the show on the step sequencer side.
I prefer the bigger Arturia hardware over the SQ-1. But the feature list is on Korgs side.

Note velocity, duration/tie yes essential. Moreover, what about the chords, say 3 notes per step with a tie? That would be a step forward. Can Arturia be a pioneer and release the first of a kind development kit for Beatstep through the MIDI Center? That would have been really cool.
Cheers everybody!
