Automation issue in Logic Pro 9
« on: May 22, 2014, 11:01:07 am »
Hi everyone,

Has anyone been able to get automation working in Logic? Recording it is a pain because you can only record in Absolute mode, which means you don't hear what you're doing... but it also means that when you play it back it doesn't work in the Relative Mode necessary to control Analog Lab properly, so it ends up jumping from 0 to 127 and back because it only 'reads' two steps in Relative Mode, if I'm thinking correctly.... any ideas, anyone?

I have not had this particular issue as of yet, but then again there are a host of other issues with Logic 9 and Analog Lab...

Are you able to bounce? 100% of the time Logic crashes after I bounce a track that uses the Analog Lab plugin. I'm working with the minilab but I'm assuming that's not the problem...

I don't understand why you're not hearing what you're doing. When I change from Relative mode to Absolute mode I hear everything fine...but then it crashes once I bounce...
