Annoying Footswitch Behaviour
« on: November 15, 2012, 10:23:32 pm »
Here's something that annoys me:

If I have an expression pedal connected (I do) then I can chose in the PERF tab of the PROGR not have it connected to anything.

If I have a footswitch connected (I do) then I can't make that same choice - the footswitch always has to do something.  That means that if I have a multi where I want to use the footswitch to control sustain on one slot, but do nothing in the other slots, then I have to set the footswitch to do something ineffectual on the other slots, like turn an unused effect on/off.  This is a pain, why can't I just disable the footswitch completely if I want to, have another option, "off"?

Or can I?  And I've just missed where this setting is...?

To answer my own post - yes, I had missed it  :)

It's in the Hardware controllers section of the Zone dialog in the Zone Settings tab in the Multi window!

Yeah!
