Bode Shifter sounds that are like physical modeling
« on: July 26, 2012, 10:40:30 pm »
I did some messing with the factory patch 338, "Origin Kit" that uses the Bode Frequency Shifter module. It's really an incredible patch, the sounds you can get out of it. It is a lot like physical modeling flute sounds on the Yamaha VL-1, where it models the creation of harmonics with stronger breath, and the breath sounds themselves.

Those are fascinating examples!  I'll have to fuss around with that when I go on vacation soon, because I'm enchanted with the Bode Frequency Shifter, but it's one of those devices which are rather arcane and don't give predictable results.  Then again, that is part of the fun...  ;D
One day, I want my keyboard studio to be a synth museum like Hans Zimmer's

p.s.  PRAY FOR THIS PLANET!!
