hardware of software problems ?
« on: June 27, 2012, 04:39:04 pm »
Hi,I just have my spark tested and my problem is that when I hit the open hi-hat button the hi tom is played or sometimes I get no sound at all.
I was thinking to send the controller back or is it the software that don't match with the controller because I used the software v1.4.1 and the controller has v1.1.2.
Who can help me out?
Thanks!

Hi,
can you confirm that it only happens when you press the pad on the controller and not when you are clicking on the pad on the software.

Looks like an "hyper-sensitive" sensor below that pad... I can actually almost simulate this if I bang the table where the controller is. Fortunately that's really an unusual thing for me to do ;D and the controller works fine under normal operation, but your problem reminded me of this little minor (to me) issue.

Hi,
youtube tells me that the video is private. Maybe you should set it as unlisted.

This is definitely a hardware problem.
Go back to your dealer and ask for a replacement unit or a repair.
