knob twiddling
« on: December 21, 2011, 07:36:32 pm »
I reach for the volume knob for a sound, let's just say the kick drum.
Perhaps a quarter of rotation, maybe a full rotation (360 spin of a knob) should be enough to change the volume from 0-127 or zero to 100 or whatever the range is...
Instead, you have to spin the knobs at two or more full rotations to run through the full rotation of an assigned parameter-could be volume, could be the decay, filter resonance...
Why is that?

Hi,

you can set the speed of the knobs from slow to normal or fast in the preference pag (top panel).
