GUI acting sluggish in Logic 9 running MiniMg 2.5 in 64bit mode
« on: October 27, 2011, 02:03:49 pm »
Hey,

I haven't been able to use MiniMg in 64bit mode very well. Just turning knobs is usually hit and
miss, so I need to keep using the 32bit version for now to get anything done. Anyone else
experiencing this?

:)

Mg Modular 64-bit is very sluggish in Cubase. MiniMg slows things down just a tad but not much. Seems there's an issue here.

Same here. Logic 9.1.5, 10.6.8, Mac Pro, running 64-bit

I'll try using it in 32-Bit mode with the bridge. The previous version (with the less cryptic top section GUI!) worked 'OK' in the bridge, but was a bit sluggish.

Awful. To be honest, i've come to expect nothing more from Arturia. Sorry guys. But your coders appear to have no clue what they're doing. Problem after problem, with years between updates. I hope this gets fixed... this year?  ::)

Sorry, just posted my own topic on this issue.

Seeing the exact same issues here.  The 64bit version is totally unusable in Logic.  The GUI basically kills Logic and is impossible to use, because it's in a constant state of spasm and spinning beachball-ness.

Please Arturia, your products are great, but every single one I've bought has been plagued by the most debilitating performance issues.

EDIT|: unsurprisingly, it's finally caused Logic to hang completely and have to be force-quit.
